Mobile Sales Office Getting an A/C Unit

One of our customers came in with their mobile sales office. They were trying to find a fix to beat the heat we have been having here in Pennsylvania. Their problem was the vehicle air conditioner could not keep the whole sales office at a comfortable temperature when their clients were going in and out. They were concerned and wanted a fix to their problem. Our solution for them was to install an 13,500 BTU air conditioner in the rear of their portable sales office with a portable generator mounted on the back of their vehicle.  Here are pictures of the completed project. The service department was too fast and had it completed before we were able to get a picture of the before and during.

De-Winterize at Home and Save

Spring is officially here. We are beginning to see a rush of customers in to get their living quarters and campers ready for the season. We at LanChester can de-winterize your trailer for $39.99 or you can do this yourself in a few simple steps. First, attach water line to your trailer. Second, turn water on and follow water lines to spigets to ensure no waterlines broke during the winter. If you find a leak shut water off immediately and dial (800) 428-8415 and speak to Ray about getting your water lines repaired, or to get some assistance locating the actual leak. If no leaking has been found move to step 3. Third, Turn all spigots on in trailer and allow them to run till all anitfreeze is flushed from the lines, abt 15 minutes.  Fourth, go to your local dumping station and drain the gray & black tanks, If you do this prior to your first trip you can drain them when you arrive and save yourself $5 – $10 depending on what your local dumping station charges. This process will take aproximately 30-60 minutes with a through check of water lines.

Completed Dump Trailer Side Extensions

Here are the pictures of the completed side extensions on the dump trailer. This job cost the customer $1,200 .00 . He was able to save thousands, because his only other option was to custom order a dump trailer with extra tall sides. He kept his own trailer added the upgrade and is now ready for his spring work. Here are the pictures of the completed project.

Dump Trailer Side Extensions

We are currently working on a project for another customer of ours.  He bought a new dump trailer from us a few years ago, and now he is in need of taller sides. We discussed with him the option to buy a new trailer special ordered with higher sides to haul more load, but we recommended that he not do that. We recommended that he allow us to build him custom side extensions to attach to his current trailer. This will solve his problem, and will allow him to carry more materials in the bed of the trailer. We did caution him, that this does not increase the weight rating, so his weight still needs to stay under the GVWR if the trailer when originally purchased. These are just pictures of the start of this project, once they are completed, I will post pictures of the final project, as well as, the savings this customer received.

Here are the before pictures with one of the side extensions already in place, they are faster than me and already had one piece on before I could snap a photo.

BrenderUp Reconstruction

This is the second reconstruction of a BrenderUp trailer. We purchased this trailer from a customer of ours in an undrivable condition. This trailer was a pile of parts. We were able to reconstruct this trailer and sell it to another customer of ours before it was even finished! The customer who purchased this trailer placed money down before this trailer was even finished based on the savings he would be receiving. We have new trailers on our lot like this selling for $11,775. We sold our customer this trailer after it was completely reconstructed for $7,500. This is a total savings of $4,275! He was one happy customer!

Accident Repair- Tree Falls on Horse Trailer

A customer of ours from the Reinholds, Pennsylvania area, had a strong wind storm sweep through their property. During this wind storm man of their trees fell over. One of the trees hit their horse trailer. The limbs ripped through the roof and destroyed the jack. We were able to go to their property and look at the damage and develop a plan of attack on how to repair this trailer. We were able to bring this trailer back to our shop, and begin the process of making the trailer look like new again. After a few short weeks, the customer’s trailer was complete. Here are pictures that show the damage before the repair.

The customer was extremely pleased with the service she received from LanChester Trailer Supply, LLC. Here is a quote from her about her experience with us. “A straight wind storm knocked over more than 60 trees on our property; some of which landed on the roof and hitch of our Sundowner. Fortunately, LanChester was able to repair the trailer to look like new, and they even helped us work with our insurance company to get the repairs done in a timely manner.” – D.D. from Reinholds, Pennsylvania. Below are the pictures of their trailer after the repair was completed and the trailer was returned home.

Maryland Horse World Expo

We are busy preparing for the upcoming Timonium, Maryland horse world expo. The Horse World Expo will run Jan 21- 24, 2010.  We will be located in booth numbers 802 & 803 in the cow palace building. We will be bringing our newest trailer renovation project along. We took a 1991 BrenderUp Trailer and renovated the trailer by replacing the green wooden side walls with new white composite material. We then replaced a lot of hardware & accessories found on the trailer to make it a complete renovation. Please take time to stop by our booth and check out the trailer. We will be bringing some pieces from the trailer prior to the refurbishment; this will allow you to see how dramatic of a change this is. We will be handing out vouchers to receive a free quote, and will have brochures and business cards about all the services that LTSR3 provides. We look forward to meeting with you all and discussing how you can save money by restoring, renovating, upgrading or modifying your trailer; rather than purchasing a new one.

Addition Of A Side Access Door

This customer was struggling to get his work materials loaded into his mobile shop trailer. This trailer was a car hauler converted into a service trailer previously, but the customer still struggled to get larger pieces of material loaded and into their proper locations. We added a side access door to make loading his larger materials easy. A new trailer would have been a huge expense ($20,000+), but he was able to reconstruct this trailer for a small fraction of the cost. Here are the before and after pictures of the additional side access door.
